Law & Order: SVU Has A New Leading Lady
You may remember Chase, a TV show that was shot here in Dallas last year.
Besides taking place in Texas, the other thing we loved about it was Kelli Giddish, who played a tough U.S. Marshal. The actress has landed a new role and will be joining the cast of Law & Order SVU in the fall.
Law & Order: SVU has added some new faces. NBC confirmed on Tuesday that former Cold Case star Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish, most recently of Chase and The Good Wife, will join Mariska Hargitay (who will only be in 13 episodes in the upcoming season), Ice-T, Richard Belzer and Dann Florek on the popular crime-solving show.
Longtime cast member Christopher Meloni left the show following unsuccessful deal negotiations in May. He is now heading to the big screen, joining Zack Snyder’s Superman movie reboot.
