The 4th of July is coming up, so it’s time to get your American Flag!
Kimberly Schlegel Whitman has a few etiquette tips for flag usage to be sure you are giving it the respect it deserves.

Flag etiquette from Kimberly Schlegel Whitman:
- The U.S. flag always goes above all other flags on a flagpole
- If you are going to use another country’s pole, it needs to be on another pole of the same height.
- The U.S. flag should never touch the ground
- If you ever have to put a flag at half-staff: it needs to be raised all the way to the top of the pole, then taken down to half-staff.
