Doctors have ordered [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Adele[/lastfm] to stop singing and talking for at least a month following her development of laryngitis. Earlier this month, the poor girl had to cancel her North American tour dates, and now that she’s back in London relaxing with friends… she can’t even talk to them!

[photogallerylink id=43408 align=right]The singer made a post to her blog recently, and said, “I’ve had a check up and I’m on the mend. I still need to take it easy and rest but things are looking up.” So that sounds promising, but sources report that she still hasn’t kicked the cigarettes, and we’re no medical experts here at Y98, but we’re thinking it would probably help matters if she gave up smoking (just saying…)
