After another heart-pounding game last night, the Dallas Mavericks pulled out an 86-83 win over the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Down by 2 at halftime, Mavs fans got nervous as word spread that Dirk was sick. Despite the flu and a 102-degree fever, Dirk Nowitzki lead the Dallas Mavericks to another win over the Heat. Certainly not a record-breaking game for Mav’s center, he still scored 21 point and pulled out 11 rebounds.
Nowitzki’s performance last night is being compared to Michael Jordan’s in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. Also plagued with the flu, Jordan scored 38 points and lead his Bulls to a win.
