[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paula Abdul[/lastfm] will be joining [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Simon Cowell[/lastfm] back at the judge’s table again.

After months of speculation as to who Simon would fill the seat next to him on his U.S. version of The X Factor, it was officially announced that his old judging pal Paula will be taking that seat.

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Simon Cowell[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paula Abdul[/lastfm] are back together again. FOX announced Sunday that the two former American Idol judges have reunited to judge the talent on Cowell’s new show The X Factor.

Abdul will be joining Cowell, as well as [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cheryl Cole[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Antonio “L.A.” Reid[/lastfm] at the judge’s table.

The panel taped its first judging session yesterday in Los Angeles. Paula left Idol in 2009, after eight seasons.

They will be held at the Dallas Convention Center on Thursday, May 26th.
