Former [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Barenaked Ladies[/lastfm] frontman Steven Page had his felony charge reduced to a misdemeanor and will avoid jail time for his recent drug charges.

Police originally charged Page with felony cocaine possession, but reduced the charges to a misdemeanor.

Page must get treatment for his drug abuse and remain out of trouble for six months. In a statement to the press, he thanked his family, friends and fans for their support.
