As huge lovers of the romantic and dramatic vampire genre, we were super excited to get our hands on pictures from the set of the popular movie series, Twilight.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (Part 1) is the first half of the fourth and final installment of this crowd-pleasing cinematic spectacle of vampires, werewolves, blood-lust, and teenagers in love. While we love vampire movies, much of the music that accompanies such films isn’t just goth and moody–it’s downright cacophonous.
So we made it our mission to find Ten Mellow Songs About Vampires & Blood and we think we succeeded. Check out these ten songs from artists like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Norah Jones[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Tori Amos[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Neil Young[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul Simon[/lastfm] that delve into the darkside of a fairytale world without losing the pretty, sparkly touches that make vampires so alluring.
10. “Young Blood”-[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Norah Jones[/lastfm]
Beautiful, jazzy crooner Norah Jones doesn’t seem like she would sink her teeth into the sanguine aspirations of the vampire, but she does just that in her song “Young Blood.”
A story about dangerously passionate, suffocating young love that would be a perfect musical interlude in any of the Twilight series movies, especially with lyrics like this:
Kissed my neck with a crooked, cracked fang/You always hoped one day you’d be mine
