The day the world has been anticipating for months has arrived, and all has gone according to plan. Prince William  has officially married his bride, Kate Middleton, a Royal.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married at a service in Westminster Abbey. They were pronounced husband and wife this morning at Westminster Abbey as 1 million people packed the streets and an estimated 2 billion more watched across the globe. The couple looked nervous but happy and got through their vows without stumbling before Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams pronounced them husband and wife. About 1,900 guests were attendance, including soccer star David Beckham and musician [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Elton John[/lastfm]. The couple are now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
