We’ve known for a while that beautiful actress (and spawn of the hilarious Goldie Hawn), Kate Hudson, is pregnant from her rock star boyfriend, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Matt Bellamy[/lastfm] of [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Muse[/lastfm]. There wasn’t any immediate wedding bells in the future, but all that has changed.

A couple of days ago, Bellamy made it clear that Hudson was indeed his muse and plopped a huge engagement ring on her finger. An actress and a musician–what a magical (and inevitable) combo.

Bellamy and Hudson aren’t the first talented, artistic couple to get hitched or get hooked on each other. In fact, Hudson has a thing for musicians–she used to be married to [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Chris Robinson[/lastfm] from the [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Black Crowes[/lastfm]. British crooner, Chris Martin, and A-list actress/country singer/nutritionist/fill-in-the-blank, Gwyneth Paltrow, have been married since 2003 and have two children together–Moses and Apple.

Everything seems to be going swimmingly for the couple–both personally and careerwise–which can’t be hard when your hot hubby is willing to apparently swim across the great dividing pond in pursuit of you:
