American Idol judge [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Steven Tyler[/lastfm] made a dying man’s wish come true!Lawrence Ori, a lifelong [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Aerosmith[/lastfm] fan, suffered from supernuclear palsey, a degenerative condition that made it difficult for him to talk and move. Ori always wanted to meet his idol Tyler, so when the Aerosmith frontman heard of his condition, he decided to do what he could to grant the 62-year-old’s wish, and got in contact with him via Skype.

Ori was surrounded by friends wearing Aerosmith shirts when the call came in. “Lawrence? This is Steve,” said Tyler. “I’m coming to you from L.A. and I’m so glad to meet you.” Lawrence was reportedly shocked and had his girlfriend tell Tyler how much he loved the band. “You hold on, Lawrence. I love you man,” said Steven. “Great to meet you.” Unfortunately, Lawrence died later that afternoon.
