Kirstie Alley Continues To Be A DWTS Train Wreck
I never thought I would say this, but I’m starting to feel bad for Kirstie Alley.
Woman is having serious issues on Dancing with the Stars this season.
Last week she fell during her rumba, due mostly to a muscle cramp in her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy‘s leg.
She recovered, and the judges were super nice about it. [pullquote quote="I'm not doing a sitcom. I'm actually doing a dancing show!"]
This week, well this week she had a whole new batch of problems–costume problems: the woman’s shoe came off!
Once again, Maksim played it off gracefully, dancing around while she found her way back into her shoe.
Again, the judges were pretty gentle, Carrie Ann Inaba told Kirstie, ”You’re the queen of the unexpected mishap, but you didn’t miss a beat! You looked like you were waiting for it to be over, but when you put the shoe back on you were back in it.”
Kirstie wasn’t quite as gentle on herself, telling Entertainment Weekly after the show, “I’m not doing a sitcom. I’m actually doing a dancing show! I’m tired of having to recover. I would just like to do something right. I don’t feel like I’m jinxed, but I feel like I need to get my s*** together. When people are accident prone, there is something going on with them. There is something going on. Our rehearsals were swell. We’re bi**hin’ in rehearsals. If you could just sort of tune into the rehearsals…”
Still, one DWTS alumn thinks Kirstie is in it to win it. Cloris Leachman told PopEater.com’s Rob Shuter, “I was surprised how light she is on her feet. She’s going to go much further than I went in the competition and I think she is going to win.”
