Justin Bieber Brings Screams to GRAMMYs
[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Justin Bieber[/lastfm] shared the stage for his first GRAMMYs performance with Jaden Smith and the artist who signed him, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Usher[/lastfm]. The performance began with a video from 2007 with a then 13-year-old Bieber auditioning for Usher. When the clip ended, Usher walked out on stage to tell Bieber, “Now it’s your time.”
Bieber kicked off his set seated on a stool and an acoustic guitar for a short performance of “Baby.” A drum corp then single file made their way from the crowd to the stage to bring in a performance of “Never Say Never,” complete with fire, nunchucks, and ninjas. A rap by Jaden Smith brought proud parents Will and Jada to their feet. Usher closed out the performance with “OMG” with over 20 backup dancers all decked in blue. Bieber rejoined Usher, complete with Usher-style shades for an acapella finish.

Bieber was thanked early in the night by Pat Monahan from Train for not being a duo or group as they took their GRAMMY for Best Pop Duo or Group for “Hey Soul Sister.”
Bieber’s movie “Never Say Never” opened in theaters Friday took in $31 million over the weekend, beating out Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston’s comedy “Just Go With It.”
