Nicole Kidman Explains Faith Margaret’s Name

Nicole Kidman and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Keith Urban[/lastfm] may have kept the pregnancy of their 2nd child under wraps, but Nicole is out on Faith Margaret and why they chose that name.

Faith Margaret’s big sister Sunday Rose had a story behind her name, and so does she:

“We needed to have that through the whole pregnancy,” Nicole explained. “That’s what it required was a lot of faith. Her name is Faith Margaret … People call her just Faith, but she’s actually Faith Margaret, that Southern double name. Margaret is my grandmother’s name. She had her last baby at 49, so she’s my inspiration.”

Sunday Rose has some background as well:

“Particularly when you don’t have someone in your life … in my experience, Sunday was the loneliest day,” Keith revealed on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ back in 2009. “It went from being the most dreaded day of the week for us to being the most joyous day, because we just had a family.”

Sunday’s middle name, Rose, was the name of Keith’s late grandmother.
