It looks like Jon Bon Jovi is ready to step off the stage and onto the big screen!

Jon has been cast in the movie titled, “New Year’s Eve“.

The movie is based around a group of people that live in New York, on New Year’s Eve, duh.

There are a ton of people in this movie… think “Valentine’s Day” from a few years ago. You have Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfieffer, Sofia Vergara, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Halle Berry, Abigail Breslin, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, Seth Meyers, and now Jon.

The role that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bon Jovi[/lastfm] is set to play is a rocker who runs into a woman that he once broke up with at a party, and romantic comedy ensues.
