The 2011 Grammy performers have been announced! Superstars [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Katy Perry[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Cee Lo Green[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eminem[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Miranda Lambert[/lastfm] and the band [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Arcade Fire[/lastfm] have just been confirmed by the Grammy Awards.

Katy Perry brings her pin-up pop sensibilities to the 2011 Grammys.  This year the superstarlet is not only performing, but is nominated in four categories.  She and her album Teenage Dream are in the running for Album of the Year, Vocal Performance and Pop Vocal Album of the Year.  She’s also up for Best Collab (with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Snoop Dogg[/lastfm])  for her summer sensation “California Gurls.”

Both Perry and fellow Grammy nominee Cee Lo Green recently rocked the Grammy Nominations concert in December of 2010.  The relative newcomer is also up for four awards for a song commonly referred to as “Forget You.”  Green and his team are up for Record of the Year,  Song of the Year, Best Short Form Music Video and Best Urban Performance for the heavily edited song.  Watch this great behind the scenes (and safe for work) interview with Green at the recent Nominations Concert.

Lady Gaga announced earlier this week that she’s prepping a killer set (and may even open the show) for the Grammys.  Gaga is up for not one, not two, but six awards.  Her album Fame Monster is up for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album of the year.  Her song (and accompanying video) “Bad Romance” is in the running for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Best Short Form Music Video.

Also, the small single that could “Dance In The Dark” is up for Best Dance Recording, AND she’s up for Best Pop Collab for her Beyonce joint “Telephone.” It’s been an epic year for Gaga.  She could walk away with six trophies or empty handed.  Watch her previous Grammy performance with icon Elton John in video below.
