Steven Tyler wants to get started on a new [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Aerosmith[/lastfm] album but he has one problem… he doesn’t know where Joe Perry is.

That’s why Tyler is putting out a plea of sorts through the media. That’s right… in these modern times  of emailing, texting, skyping and social networking Steven Tyler is sending a personal message to Joe Perry via an interview with Rolling Stone.

“I’m trying to rally the guys together” he says, “We’re having trouble getting Joe [Perry]. I don’t know where he is, but just come down to L.A. at the end of January sometime. I’ve had enough downtime.“

Aerosmith fans please be on the look out for Joe Perry.  If you find him tell him to go to LA at the end of January.
