Get your Christmas party started with some of these refreshing cocktails.

Gingerbread Apple Cocktail

  • 2 oz Domaine de Canton
  • 1 oz vanilla vodka
  • 2.5 oz apple cider
  • A few drops of lemon juice
  • Orange zest
  • Agave syrup

Line a chilled martini glass lightly with agave syrup on a dish followed by spiced graham cracker crumbs. Place all ingredients except for orange zest in a shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into glass. Freshly grate orange zest on drink and serve immediately.

Hot Buttered Rum

In a preheated coffee mug combine 2 heaping tbs batter with 1 1/2 oz. Mount Gay Eclipse Rum. Top with boiling water and stir well to mix. Serve with a spoon.

Hint: It is best to make the batter in advance so the spices have an opportunity to mingle. Be sure to remove batter from refrigerator at least 6 hours prior to serving to allow it to soften.

Batter:

  • 1 lb light brown sugar
  • 1/2 lb unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl beat together softened butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and spices until well combined. Refrigerate in an airtight reusable container for up to a month, or place in your freezer until ready to use.

Mocha Nog Punch

  • 10 parts Kahlúa Mocha
  • 5 parts Absolut Vanilla
  • 20 parts eggnog

Combine ingredients and serve in a punch bowl with a floating ice block.

Hint: Freeze ice with coffee beans for decoration.

Depaz Hottie

  • 1 lb brown sugar
  • 2 oz Depaz Cane Syrup
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 oz fresh apple cider
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Blend the ingredients together and bring to a boil before removing from the heat.

Individual preparation: Using the above cocktail base, select an appropriate mug. Then add:

  • 2 heaping tbs prepared cocktail base
  • 2 oz Depaz Blue Cane Amber Rhum
  • Approximately 6 oz hot water

Garnish with ground nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.

Tinsel Bellini

  • 2 oz HPNOTIQ
  • 1 oz Limoncello
  • 1 oz Champagne
  • Splash of lime juice

Rim the champagne flute with a light coat of sugar. Pour chilled HPNOTIQ, Limoncello, and Champagne into the champagne flute. Add a splash of lime juice.

G’vine Frost Bite

  • 1.5 oz G’vine Gin
  • 1 coffee spoon of lemon pepper zest
  • 1.5 oz averna limoncello

Mix ingredients together with ice.

G’ingle Bell

  • 1 oz G’vine Nouaison
  • 1/4 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 1/2 oz Apple Liqueur (Berentzen)
  • 1/2 oz Simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz Lime Juice

Pour all the ingredients in a shaker, shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
