Did you know that some energy drinks contained alcohol? Many states are banning these popular items from shelves.

Washington is the latest state to ban energy drinks, after college students were hospitalized from consuming too many. The most popular is called  Four Loko. The drink is a 23.5-ounce drink with 12 percent alcohol. Equal to drinking about five 12-ounce beers. Four Loko also has about a cup’s worth of coffee.
