
[lastfm]Olivia Newton-John[/lastfm] is fighting against Breast Cancer in an unsual way. Olivia is turning to comic-books to help her crusade.
The singer’s life story is told in the new graphic novel, which is set to be published as part of the Female Force comic-book series in the US by Bluewater Productions later this year. [pullquote quote="“Breast cancer… was hard to talk about. So it takes a while before you can put it into a category that you can discuss without becoming emotional.” "]
Proceeds from the book will go to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Center which Oliva set up after her battle with the disease in the 1990s.
The Grease star, 61, said, “Breast cancer… was hard to talk about. So it takes a while before you can put it into a category that you can discuss without becoming emotional.”
Other stars to get the ‘Bluewater’ treatment include Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, George Bush, Robert Pattinson and [lastfm]Michael Jackson[/lastfm].
