Time to slowdown for the lowdown

Did you LOVE the Madonna episode of Glee?  Apparently everyone did, because Fox wants to have the lightning strike twice.  The Glee producers are talking about doing a sequel, ANOTHER episode featuring the music of Madonna.  13.5 million people tuned in to see the episode. And the producer tells EW.com, “Madonna and her people are into it and want it to happen.”

Avatar is coming out on DVD today, it’s bare bones with no additional content.  And apparently making 2 billion dollars isn’t enough for James Cameron.  He’s bringing it back to the 3-D IMAX as soon as he can.   He says the shows kept selling out even on the last day at the theatre, but it had to be pulled by contract because Alice in Wonderland had to go in.   AND the Avatar sequel will be set in the oceans of Pandora, instead of the forest.

Courtney Love is changing her name because she feels “oppressed”. Her real name is Courtney Michelle Harrison – and now she insists she wants to be known as Courtney Michelle because her old alter ego is “dead”.  She said: “Here’s the thing you need to know: Courtney Love is dead. We’ve put her away, we’ve all decided we don’t like her any more. We love her when she goes on stage, but I don’t need her in the rest of my life.  I’m Courtney Michelle. The name Courtney Love is a way to oppress me.”

Men in Black III IS going to happen, and they’re getting the whole band back together.   Barry Sonnenfeld has confirmed that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones will star in it. Smith has been on board for some time, but Jones’ involvement
was less clear, with Josh Brolin possibly as a replacement.
